Estimate questions.
- Is the estimate really free?
- Yes. On-site consultation and a written, itemized proposal are free for residential projects within our standard service area. Very large custom home or commercial scopes may involve a paid pre-construction phase; we'll tell you up front.
- How fast will I get a proposal?
- Most residential proposals go out within 72 hours of the on-site visit. Larger or design-heavy scopes can take a week or two, and we'll tell you exactly what to expect at the end of the site visit.
- What should I have ready before the call?
- Project type (kitchen, ADU, addition, etc.), approximate scope or square footage, a rough timeline, and any plans, inspirational photos, or designer drawings you already have. None of these are required.
- Will the price change after we sign?
- Only if you change the scope. Our proposals are fixed-price, not cost-plus - meaning we absorb cost fluctuations once the contract is signed. Change orders only happen when you decide to add or alter scope.
- Do you serve my area?
- We're based in Woodland Hills and work a ~25-30 mile radius: the full San Fernando Valley, Calabasas, Pasadena, the Westside, and most of LA County. If you're outside that zone we'll still talk - just confirm with us first.
